Lunch is almost always the cheaper sushi buffet. At Hong Kong hotels, dinner typically costs HKD 300–400 more per adult than lunch at the same venue. Weekends and public holidays add another HKD 50–100.

Best value move: weekday lunch plus an eShop discount. Hotel Alexandra's weekend seafood lunch dropped from HKD 468 plus 10% to HKD 374.40 net through its eShop.

Children and seniors
