How to Use Sushi Chain Queue and Ticket Apps in Hong Kong

At Hong Kong's busiest sushi chains, the queue is the real cost of a cheap meal. Apps fix most of it. Sushiro's app lets you book a time slot; Genki Sushi's lets you queue remotely. A few minutes of setup can save an hour on a weekend.

Queue apps. Sushiro (香港壽司郎): book a time slot by branch and date, check which slots are full, get a reminder. No phone bookings. Genki Sushi: in-app queuing, plus points. Live queue numbers: a third-party site shows Sushiro's current ticket numbers by branch.

Sushiro: step by step

1. Download 香港壽司郎 (by Akindo Sushiro) and register as a member. 2. Open the Ticket/Reservation tab. 3. Choose a branch. 4. Pick the date, time slot and party size. 5. Wait for the reminder notification before your slot. Full slots show as unavailable. Sushiro says it does not take phone bookings.

The app also has a real-time queue status function, so you can watch your number from nearby rather than standing outside.

Live queue numbers

A third-party site called "Sushi Long" shows the numbers being called at every Sushiro branch and updates automatically. Enter your ticket number and it estimates your wait — one July 2026 example showed MOKO calling 263–267, with ticket 275 about 18 minutes away. It is not an official Sushiro service.

Genki Sushi

Genki's app includes in-app queuing, plus Genki Points and birthday discounts. Its online takeaway site lets you order ahead for collection. See Genki Sushi menu.

sen-ryo

sen-ryo's app focuses on members-only e-coupons rather than queuing; its branches rarely have Sushiro-level queues.

Book a quiet branch. Use the live queue site to spot which nearby branch is shortest, then book that one.

At the branch: arrive a few minutes before your slot and follow the in-app instructions to confirm arrival. Late arrivals may lose their slot.

Third-party sites can break. Unofficial queue trackers may stop working without notice. The official app is the reliable source.
